A winter storm warning is in effect for the area until 6:00am Thursday. Significant sleet and snow accumulations are expected. Heavy snow and a projected overnight low temperature of 16 degrees will result in dangerous driving conditions. Once the winter weather arrives, please avoid unnecessary travel.
